IRIS Market

Is this location any good?

€6,000a year per market, averaged over three years €6,000 a year for the licence. No build and nothing one-off, so year one, every year after it, and the three-year average are all the same €6,000. It is the one tier that needs nothing from you: no sales data, no build, no sprint.

  • Standardised European data: census, POI, traffic, mobility
  • Catchment: walk and car
  • Location score with its demand drivers, never the score alone
  • Unlimited scores on the market you licence
  • We won't forecast revenue without your sales data. Nobody honestly can
  • Europe and Turkey only. Elsewhere the data layer is built first, starting with a Kick Start

Your data, our build

What will it make?

From €13,000a year per market, averaged over three years €9,000 a year for the licence, plus a one-off build of €12,000 to €24,000. The build starts with a Validation Sprint, which counts as its first sprint and credits in full. So year one is €21,000 to €33,000, then €9,000 a year. The licence is 60% of the IRIS band for the same estate.

Everything in IRIS Market

  • Revenue forecast with its 80% interval
  • Validated out-of-sample at the sprint
  • Calibrated to your sales, your formats, your estate
  • Support from the people who built it
  • No bespoke catchment logic, no revalidation, no reserved senior capacity. That is IRIS.
  • External data beyond our standard layer is optional, and charged at cost on top of the licence

The same European base layer, your own data, and optional external sources.

Everything in this tier
  • You keep the validation numbers from the sprint
  • Our catchment library: walk, bike and car, on our standardised European data layer
  • Model updates and hands-on expert time, included through the year
  • Reserved senior capacity and revalidation each cycle are what underwrite a written guarantee, which is why they sit on IRIS rather than here.
  • Any 50-store estate whose sprint passed can move to IRIS at the published band, with this year's licence credited.

You keep the report either way, whether or not you go on to build.

Can I bet a lease on it?

From €24,000a year per market, averaged over three years From €16,000 a year for the licence, plus a one-off build of €24,000 to €60,000. The build starts with a Validation Sprint, which counts as its first sprint and credits in full. So year one is from €40,000, then from €16,000 a year. The licence is banded by revenue under management: the annual revenue your stores in that country take at the till, across your whole estate there.

Everything in Studio

  • Accuracy committed in writing, or your first-year licence back
  • Validated out-of-sample on your own stores
  • Catchment logic built for your estate, not picked from a library
  • Senior modelling capacity dedicated to your estate, through the year
  • The written guarantee needs 50 comparable mature stores in that market.
  • External data beyond our standard layer is optional, and charged at cost on top of the licence

The same European base layer, your own data, and optional external sources.

Everything in this tier
  • Miss the R2, MAPE and interval we agree, and your first-year licence for that market is refunded
  • The figures we sign are set at or below what your own sprint measured, never above
  • Catchment shaped by how your customers actually travel, not picked from a library
  • The standardised data layer is included; additional market-specific sources are scoped for your market and passed through at cost, with the invoices
  • Below 50 comparable mature stores we still model, but we report ranges and the ranking of your candidates rather than a committed number, and we say so before you buy.
  • A validated model needs 15 or more comparable mature stores to cross-validate against; below that, any accuracy figure would be an artefact. The Kick Start is open at €2,000.

The sprint fixes the remaining sprint count in writing before any build work starts, so you know the full cost before you commit.

Work directly with us, or through an implementation partner. Implementation partners bring local-market knowledge, implementation capacity, and existing relationships; using one is optional.

Fine print

Prices exclude VAT, are for business use, and are per market, per year. The figures here are indicative for budgeting; your engagement is set out in a written order form, which prevails. Revenue under management means the annual revenue taken in your stores and restaurants in that country, at the till rather than a franchisor fee, across your whole estate there. You already know that number, so you can work out your own band before you speak to us. Not-for-profits, social enterprises and estates under 15 locations pay half on the Validation Sprint. Under 15 locations that means the Kick Start only, at €2,000, because a validated model cannot be cross-validated on fewer.

When to walk away

This is not for you if…

Some teams should not buy this. Here are the cases where we say so before you spend anything:

  • You open a site once a decade

The maths pays back when you make location calls often enough for a better hit-rate to matter. One store every ten years does not need a platform.

  • You want a single confident number

We will not hand you one. Every forecast comes with its range, and the width is the point. If a bare number is what you are after, another vendor will oblige.

  • You will not share your own store data

The forecast is calibrated on the sites you already run. Without your estate it is a generic guess, and that is not what we sell.

Still reading? Then you are making real location calls on your own estate and want a number you can defend. That is exactly who IRIS is for.

Straight talk

What we tell every buyer before they sign

A market is one country. We do not pool countries and we do not split them. We band on your whole estate in that country, not on the stores you choose to model, so leaving stores out never lowers your licence. The build is separate: €12,000 per four-week sprint, and the Validation Sprint is the first of them, credited in full.
The standardised European layer is included at every tier, at no extra charge. Anything beyond it is optional and charged separately: on IRIS Studio and IRIS some markets are better modelled with commercial sources on top, and where you want them we scope them, negotiate them and pass them through at cost with the invoices attached. It is itemised, never folded into the licence, and nothing is bought without your say-so. IRIS Market runs on the standard layer only, so it carries no data cost beyond the licence.
The Validation Sprint feeds the onboarding work: the same ingestion, the same calibration. So the €12,000 credits in full toward implementation. You pay once for work we did once. When you implement, we commit the R2, MAPE and interval in writing. Miss the accuracy we agreed, and your first-year licence for that market is refunded, where that market has 50 or more comparable mature sites. We do not refund the build, that is real work done; we refund the licence if it does not perform.
Your band is set at signature from the estate you declare, and we never audit your accounts. It is re-checked at renewal only, never mid-term, and any increase is capped at 10% a year. If your estate contracts, you rebase down straight away. So a good year does not trigger an invoice.
Not every network takes money at a till. A parcel-locker bank, an EV charging site or a pickup point earns per parcel or per session, so there is no store turnover to band on. For those we band on the revenue the network earns through the sites we model, on the same scale. If that number is genuinely not known, we agree it in writing at the sprint rather than guess at it.
