Sameday grew fast on market demand and on putting Easyboxes across Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria. That works while the map is still mostly empty. Sameday grew its Easybox network from a few hundred lockers to over 6,000 lockers and pickup points by mid-2024, with IRIS testing candidate sites against modelled demand and existing coverage as the network grew. Sameday's strategy is built on ensuring that 50% of the population is within a seven-minute walk from a locker, making it convenient for customers to access their parcels.
Sameday's teams always had sharp instincts about where the network should grow. IRIS gave that instinct something to test against: for each candidate site, the platform reads local demand and existing coverage, then estimates how much a new Easybox would actually be used before it is installed. Placement stopped being a hunch and became a decision the team could defend, site by site.
Sameday has committed over 300 million RON to further network expansion, so the same question only gets bigger: where next. IRIS sits inside that decision now, and each candidate is tested against modelled demand and the coverage already there before anything is installed.
